What is the MEL Science purpose?
We are breaking the stereotype that science is boring, difficult, and only for certain types of people. We strive to make serious science accessible, interesting, and cool. Science is about exploration, experiments, discovery, and asking questions – all of which comes naturally to all children. We believe that every child is a scientist.

What is the Electric Boat set?
Have you ever played with a battery-powered toy? Do you know where a battery gets its power from? With the “Electric Boat” set by MEL Science, not only will you construct your own battery – you'll also build a toy boat that can use it to sail! The AR app will show you what each part of the battery is for, and how electric current appears in the wires!
You will:
Construct a real battery
Make your own boat
Combine the two to make the boat sail on battery power

What parts a battery consists of
How batteries work
How to power a boat with your own battery

My kids absolutely loved building the MELScience Electric boat.
Instructions are so easy to follow for the kids.
Instructions are very visual no need to read.
It works as expected.
Comes with a book and a story that goes along with the project. (My kids loved this!)
Very fun!!
CONS
Sometimes the wooded pieces won't fit easily.
Adult supervision needed to build the battery + motor.
